In the country of Saudi Arabia, (located in Western Asia) Christmas is completely prohibited, this is due to the religion they practice, (Muslim), they in their country are forbidden to celebrate this holiday openly although they can do it in some way "hidden", many inhabitants of this country who are foreigners come to celebrate it so that they do not realize and thus be able to take their festivity to a country that does not have this tradition.
Although they do not celebrate Christmas, Muslims have a lot of respect for this time and Christian traditions, in small towns where there are Christian communities they come to put ornaments, to celebrate a little more and if you have a friend who is Christian you can go to spend time with his family, to celebrate and to live a little of thisParty with its limitations imposed by Islam but it is a great opportunity to open your beliefs and try new things.
The Arabs do not have a date equivalent to Christmas, they do not have a date that replaces it or celebrate some other tradition, the closest thing to Christmas for them is Ramadan, a celebration part of Islam that lasts a month between April and May, very different from Christmas but in their culture I think it is the closest thing to this beautiful holiday that if it is celebrated in most of the world.
